Men's Health Month: Eye Health
Do you know that almost 30% of men will wait "as long as possible" before visiting a doctor!! With June being Men's Health Month, this is a reminder for those men that regular check-ups with health care providers are essential in catching problems before they become serious conditions - and that includes EYE HEALTH!!
Drs. Hansen, Pietig and Young would love to help you be the one to reduce that percentage with a comprehensive eye health exam. This preventative, individual and comprehensive exam will check for risk factors, including a history of eye disease like glaucoma or macular degeneration, diabetes or high blood pressure, a job that may be hazardous to the eyes, or previous eye injuries or surgery that could require a more frequent eye exam schedule.
