It’s that time of year again where we wrap up the holiday celebrations with our families and we take time to celebrate our AMAZING team here at Ankeny Family Vision Center. This was a much-needed pause for the AFVC team to take a break from selling eyewear and contact lenses, scheduling vision care appointments, and accomplishing everything else eye care.

Together our team let their creative sides shine at the AR Workshop here in Ankeny. Have we mentioned how important supporting the Ankeny Community is to us here at AFVC?! Our Holiday Party was a refreshing time out with the perfect guests. Bonus, our team now has something extra to always remember our amazing experience celebrating our vision care clinic.

We are so excited!!  Do you remember our promotion for December?  "Give a gift.  Change a life."  We "partnered" with World Vision!  For every pair of glasses purchased from November 25 to December 24, we set a side $10.00 for World Vision!

Here is what we were able to purchase with the help of all of you - 

We sent a goat, a sheep, 4 chickens and 5 ducks to a family in a third world country.

That is NOT ALL - 

We sent funds to help stock and renovate a health clinic in a third world country.

BUT IT DOES NOT STOP THERE!!!

We were also able to supply $5000 worth of medicines (anti-biotics, anti-parasitic meds, anti-fungals, antiseptics, painkillers, Vitamin A, disposable syringes, and oral rehydration salts).  Our gift was multiplied by 10!!!

IS THAT NOT AWESOME!!!

So a HUGE THANK YOU - to all who were in during that time and participated in our "Give a gift - Change a Life" promotion!

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!
